PRODUCTION & FUFILLMENT TEAM MEMBER

Join our family-owned coffee roastery and become an integral part of a growing, tight-knit team. As our second hire, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the future of the company alongside us. We’re looking for a dedicated individual who’s ready to start in a part-time production and fulfillment role (15-24 hours/week) with a clear path to transition into a full-time production roaster position in the near future.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Maintain Facility Cleanliness & Safety: Assist in keeping our production space organized, tidy, and in compliance with food safety and workplace safety regulations.
• Manage Green Coffee Inventory: Unload shipments of green coffee, organize, and maintain inventory in an efficient and systematic way.
• Track & Monitor Stock: Participate in weekly cycle counts and end-of-month inventory checks, ensuring accurate records and proper stock levels.
• Support Production Operations: Operate machinery for weighing, filling, and sealing coffee; label and package products with care and precision.
• Quality Control: Participate in regular quality control exercises, including cupping sessions, to maintain the highest standard of product quality.
• Troubleshoot & Maintain Equipment: Address and resolve equipment issues, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting on all roasting equipment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Passion for Coffee: A genuine love for coffee and an eagerness to learn. Previous experience in the coffee industry is a plus but not required.
• Attention to Detail: A strong focus on precision and quality in every task.
• Productivity & Reliability: A proactive attitude, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to adhering to work schedules.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move ​green coffee/packages (25-70 lbs) and collaborate with mechanical assistance for heavier loads (up to 150 lbs).
• Experience in Fulfillment & Warehouse: Previous experience with fulfillment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is a bonus.
• Tech-Savvy: Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Roasting Experience: Previous experience in coffee roasting is a plus, though not required.
